Banyan Infrastructure is a project finance platform on a mission to use modern software to accelerate the flow of capital to sustainable infrastructure projects around the world. The Banyan Infrastructure software platform empowers global capital markets to finance necessary sustainable infrastructure projects faster by automating the complex and time-consuming processes in the origination, underwriting, and portfolio management of sustainable assets. Banyan Infrastructure announced a $25 million Series B funding round in March 2023.

THE CHALLENGE

Banyan Infrastructure (Banyan) offers an end-to-end project finance software platform for sustainable infrastructure. After receiving Series A funding in 2022, Banyan had the capital to invest in resources to educate the market and begin communicating the value of its platform. As a new technology in an underserved market segment, Banyan faced not only the challenge of marketing itself, but also of educating the market, which has historically relied on siloed, inefficient processes, on the problem it solves. Essentially, Banyan was creating an entirely new software segment for project finance.

SOLUTION

DG+ refined Banyan’s brand, updating its color palette, typography, design elements, and core messaging on a fully redesigned website. Banyan’s new website portrays the company as a modern, knowledgeable, and experienced project finance software platform provider. In addition, DG+ provides ongoing messaging and PR support to maintain Banyan’s position as a thought leader, including bylines, media outreach, and deep-dive white papers.

With a refreshed brand, Banyan is moving forward from its Series B round of funding to continue developing its reputation as the leading project finance software platform for financiers, lenders, developers, and owners of sustainable infrastructure. DG+ continues to be the messaging and design support behind Banyan’s PR, communications, branding, and marketing efforts.
