ConSol is a building clean energy and energy efficiency consultancy offering technical, policy and economic consulting to accelerate decarbonization in new and existing residential and commercial buildings. As one of California's leading energy-efficiency firms, ConSol clients include top national residential builders, land developers, building product manufacturers, investor-owned and municipal utilities, public agencies and local governments.

THE CHALLENGE

For several decades, ConSol has been a go-to energy efficiency and clean energy advisor for the utility and building industries. Over the years, its services have expanded and evolved with client needs and ConSol has built up an impressive and diverse portfolio of projects. By 2021, the company’s original website and marketing collateral were very outdated and did not fully capture the breadth and depth of ConSol’s technical and analytical capabilities. ConSol enlisted DG+ for a full overhaul of its brand and messaging that would clearly communicate its full suite of services and deep industry expertise. 

SOLUTION

DG+Design worked closely with ConSol to create a dynamic and playful updated brand, including a refreshed logo and color palette. Based on employee interviews, discussions, and existing company materials, DG+ also developed new key messaging tailored to ConSol’s unique services and diverse clientele. The updated brand and key messaging were translated into a new website, which DG+ designed, developed, and launched for ConSol. Custom branded document templates, sales brochures, and case studies rounded out ConSol’s new look and equipped the operations and sales teams with refreshed collateral.
