Renewable America

Brand refresh, market positioning, and sales outreach strategy to establish Renewable America as a competitive developer of local, optimally sized projects.

HIGHLIGHTS

Renewable America's mission is to become a leading provider of distributed energy resources (DERs), serving communities with small utility-scale, locally generated solar plus storage facilities and resilient microgrids that fit into the distribution grid. It aims to enable every member of the community to have access to clean power. The company’s current focus is the California market. DERs, including renewable generation and storage, are now transforming power systems through decentralization and microgrids.

Renewable America has over 90 megawatts (MW) of solar and energy storage projects under development throughout California. Its projects are strategically located to provide maximum benefit to the region while also meeting the community’s demand needs.

THE CHALLENGE

In a competitive market, Renewable America aimed to distinguish itself from the pack by showcasing how its solar and energy storage projects are uniquely positioned to support local resiliency and sustainability initiatives in California. The company approached DG+ to first conduct market analysis, then revamp its website and increase brand awareness within its target customer base.

SOLUTION

DG+ assessed market conditions, leveraging the results to develop strategic recommendations for Renewable America’s portfolio of projects. The DG+ team also propelled Renewable America’s brand forward with key messaging development and a sleek new website. Lastly, it provided market and lead generation data, developed sales collateral and content, and created a unique sales outreach strategy for Renewable America.
